Change for Change- DO try this at home!  This is a treasure hunt idea that let's you fund your cause without spending a dime.  Everyday we are walking over treasures- treasures that could make a big difference in the lives of those who need it.  Whether it's change that fell out of someone's pocket or pennies that someone has thrown down in the gas station parking lot.  Until you start looking you will never realize how much is there.  I have been doing this for less than a month and have already found $1.82!  This idea is great for parents and grandparents who want to get their little humanitarians involved and have fun at the same time.  What kid doesn't love a treasure hunt?!  Start by setting the amount of time your hunt will last.  I have chosen a year for mine but less time may be better if kids are involved.  The second step is to make your treasure chest.  I have posted a picture of mine below- remember the idea is to keep this free so its best to get creative and have fun with items you have lying around the house. Now it's time to fill that puppy up! And here comes the best part for the parents... Imagine if every time you were in public your children were occupied by looking around for the treasures...  It's Heaven, right??  When your hunt is over you will need to get with your little hunters to pick a good deed for your loot.  I will be donating mine to FMSC which provides a meal to a starving child with every 22 cents they receive.  This means in less that a month, my $1.82 in treasures, have created over 8 meals.  And now without further ado... my super awesome treasure jar -
